  Overall, agree with DRBAD's assessment. At this point in its evolution and if blind, I would have guessed right bank Bordeaux. And that's not a bad thing. The acid only showed after an hour, at which time nicely balanced. Very enjoyable

  A serious wine from a no nonsense producer. Round and plush. Still very fruity, acidity is high and after an hour or so becomes a bit of a burden. Super long an delicious finish, with no hint of tertiaries. I always wonder whether this upscale Malbecs will really develop or just fade. In this case my guess is fade. So drink now, it is delicious.

  Drinks like an aged Napa Cab. Black and red cherries, plum and tobacco. Tannins have been completely tamed. Good acidity on the finish.
