  Still drinking well although possibly slightly past its peak. Silver Oak has its detractors but we have always been fans. This wine remains solid and flavorful. We have several bottles left from a case we purchased at the SO release party. Time to consume over the next 12 months.

  Initial: Not really impressed sadly. Dull, flat, lacked flavor or any fruit, a lot of alcohol on approach. Will update.

  This bottle was very good. Typical Silver Oak nose, smooth tannins, easy finish…very good!

  Thanks to Mark O'Br.... for ordering this one. At 11 years the wine is frankly got to be at its peak. It was awesome with blackberry, plum skin, tobacco and cedar wood making up the flavor profile. The finish is balanced and simply savory.

  Definitely feels much younger than 2011 vintage. Leather, red roses, perfumed floral notes, rosemary, blueberry, savoury, green olives, extra virgin olive oil. Impeccable balance, complex, intriguing and delicious. Long lingering finish. Outstanding wine!
