Predominantly mulberry and black current on the nose with a whiff of vanilla and cedar. Medium bodied with a soft tannic structure. Dark cherry flavors overpower any complexity both forward and mid-palate with just a bit of spice coming through. Unremarkable short to medium length finish. Throws a fair amount of sediment at the end. An especially dry season for Clare Valley may not have been ideal for Cabs. A decent table wine, but not at this price point.

totally opaque black-red colour, no purple, nose of clean fresh black currant fruit, no real complexity or nuances at the moment, palate marked by sweet fruit, good balance, no real age, again fresh young black currant fruit, I have old (1975) Taylors Cab. Sav. under cork but have no experience with aged wines under screw-cap, I hope they do eventually develop the complexity of an aged wine under cork, the idea is not to preserve the wine as bottled for eternity, time and experience will tell, at this glacial rate of development one may have to wait a long time

Soft and smooth flavour. Medium body and finish that was very enjoyable.
