This bottle is slightly past its prime. The nose has the classic Gevrey features of earth, wood, some mushrooms, chocolate, but on the palate fruit is somewhat dissipated with a bit of flattened acidity. However, still drinkable but not for much longer. Drink immediately with a good steak or other hearty fare!

Very ripe fruit expression, red and black fruits, earth, VA and mineral. It is good but not great. Still can improve a bit and there is ample amount of fruits still.
