At HHI. Very challenging cork, but otherwise in good shape. A little bit of bottle funk when initially opened, but blew off pretty quickly. Crystalline ruby red. Light bodied, but full flavored and complex. Tertiary flavors of black tea, but still with some candied black cherries. Excellent.

Great barnyard on the nose, good, rich taste, good acid, more barnyard on the palate throughout the night, opened slowly and it took 40 minutes to open, rich and elegant tonight.
