Really nice wine for the price. Not a blockbuster Hermitage, but its affordable, offers fruit and just enough structure.. Black fruits, some olive, black currant, smoke, meat, earth, spice, black pepper. Really nice effort from a good cooperative.

Vindredi (Hermitage vs Cote Rotie, and friends) (Bellevue, WA): Tasted blind. Olive, meat, smoke. A bit closed on the nose to start. Dense dark fruits. Soft, with a medium plus finish.

Wine Education Service - The Northern Rhône (Imperial College): Opaque, youthful.
Sweet fruity nose, slightly mineral, complex.
Fruity, oaky, tannic, very smooth, very youthful (will still be attractive in 20 years), very long.
