Final btl, and best so far. Lovely St. Jo. On the nose: pure olive, dried herbs, cola, dried blackberry, bacon fat...just stunning. On the palate: fantastic acidity, hi-toned red fruit, dried herbs, fantastic density and finely grained tannin. Yum.

Classic Syrah fruit with just hints of the complexity that may come with time. Tannins are quite smooth and acidity still gives it a lot of zip. Great with food now, it will probably last another 5-10 years.

Took a bit of time to get it open - some leather, wet fur, black olive - black cherry - great nose (esp. on day 2) - soft tannins and great acidity which gives it quite a bit of zip across the palate. Enjoyable

This is wonderful right now, and far and away my best btl. Fantastic nose with black raspberry, bramble, olive brine, and a gamey overtone. On the palate, lovely density, tea, bramble fantastic acidity, finely grained tannin and szechuan peppercorn on the juicy finish.

Fantastic showing... full of white pepper and garrigue, integrated canned red and dark fruits. Clean and low ABV; fantastic with lean steak and rich romanesco.
