Still quite structured (like in a tannic way, but just plain old white wine acid) but the taste elements seem mature (with some old winey notes) so it’s time to drink the rest.
Reticent nose, full structured mouth that shows some slightly aged white fruit, decent length.

PnP. Light greenish gold. Citrus nose, no butterscotch or tropical notes at all. On the palate this is Chablis-like; very acidic and thin. However, with some air it definitely fills out, but still has an intense phenolic component on the finish which seems out of balance. Not sure where this is going; OK but not as good as I hoped. This has improved substantially with air and time at fridge temperature, fleshed out, developed more fruit, etc. Quite good now.

Starting to deliver on that Real Serious Promise noted 4 years ago. All of the pieces are here... good nose, really good length, mouth full, but still a bit structured for it all. I’d say wait until 2013 to try next, perhaps skipping ahead a vintage or two on the meantime.

This wine rocks, especially the full, rocky mouth and the nice rocky length.
