Agreed with previous notes - "come hither" fruit forward, black cherries, icing sugar nose, and some interesting back notes in the mouth. Will definitely try again.

My response to this second bottle, drunk 2 months after the first, is almost 180° different from my initial response. Where I found the first to be bitter, this was fresh, bright, alive, refreshing, and absolutely delightful. Bright red fruits, particularly cherry, predominate, matched by the color - brilliant red (almost orange-red) jewel-like in intensity. There was a hint of cola. At a lower register, one is aware of scents of the maquis (the Corsican garigue), and a tartness that balances the fruit.
I would not hold this wine, as others have suggested; it is meant to be enjoyed young.
Rated 2 on a scale of -1 to 3.

Tim's. Taupe-brown color shows some age. On the palate, fig jam, walnuts, red-apple skin and paprika. Pleasant to drink but time to drink up.

Strawberries for days on the bouquet and palate. Still together and fresh.
