Light garnet red, pure cherry nose that deepned to include plum over a couple of hours. Gentle tannin and acidity, lovely cherry in the mouth, good to go from half bottle, will keep a few years though.

I noted the Community’s comments with interest. A very pleasant wine, not overly complex. Little age on rim, bouquet of stone fruit - plums maybe with hints of vanilla and spice, full fruit on palate, silky enveloping tannins give a nice mouthfeel but not much else going on. I’m not sure this needs any more cellaring. Enjoyable, good VFM make me give it 2 more points on the dreaded 100 pt scale, to 90.

This is as has been said still young. Purple and on the nose spice and violets are restrained. In the mouth there is more plum than nature tobacco and cassis; however I believe these will show through. Smooth and will be super; leave for a further two years in my opinion.

This bottle still tastes very young, certainly “green”. Rather less evolved than last bottle, despite being 18m on. On this showing, leave for a while yet - Summer 24?

As with the previous half bottle this was lovely from opening albeit with a short decant. No rush to finish these but they are lovely now.
