Bludorn Restaurant. First selection was sold out so we landed on this. At $148.00 on the menu a bit pricey but very enjoyable. Acid driven so this could have used some food right out of the gate.

Truly excellent -- light but extremely flavorful, with berries and apricots and vanilla and toast and hints of reductive flint/gamey notes -- all the greatest hits of champagne hitting you all at once, but in a harmonious focused package. "Focused" for sure -- unlike Krug Grand Cuvee (which I tend to score the same 95 points) which hits you all across the palate, this feels like a tight sphere floating in the mouth. Floating in a Burgundian manner -- ethereal. Also: would be very crowd pleasing (though I didn't share). And held up extremely well over a couple days. I wouldn't go out of my way to age it, but it could handle it for sure.

mainly based on Chardonnay Grand Cru at sight, all is ok Nose quite neutral, perhaps some light citrus a bit disappointed on the palate, the final is (too) crispy with a slight bitterness

apple nose; more savory and leesy with straightforward apple fruit; solid performer
