  • Had this during our Tuscany trip with friends 9/28 to 10/5 to Villa Montepulciano.

Had this again a few days later. Just as beautiful. Reiterating notes.

The best of the lot from Croce di Febo. I was told that this was limited to their best vantages. Not bad for about $40. I sensed a more modern version here with some creaminess mouthfeel and a vanilla tinge. Fruits are blueberry, cherry, and I get some lingering fig.

  • 100% sangiovese – made only in the best years. Red berries and herbs on the nose, in mouth rounded – nice mixture of moderate oak treatment – dark fruits, spices, delicious and mouthwatering effort.
