Drank with friends at Sjuper Bowl party. As is usually the case, 14 Hands is a simple, nice drinking cab with enought flavor to make it interesting. Drank it with various pub grub items. This wine usually represents a well made, mass produced Washington wine at a fair price. It is single dimensional, ready to go, and has reasonable fruit. Nothing special, but I'll always have a few bottles on hand for folks that don't really get into wine. Seems pretty consistant year-to-year.

Brian’s: This was interesting; Strong oaky nose of dried cardomon-herb-spices from oak taking over; lighter bod that lacked strucure, backbone. This clearly was not aging well and might be good and med-light bal CS early on, but this was way out of wack to me.

This is a good value. Smooth Cab, not too big, not too fruity.
