A very youthful color for a 13 year old a Barolo. This comes from the Scarrone cru in Castiglione Falletto. An intoxicating nose of potpourri, sweet decaying roses, tar, and Saigon cinnamon. There is so much complexity here. The tannins are still firm and drying, but the secondary flavors are developing nicely. The bursts of red cherry and blue raspberry are the perfect balance. A long finish brings black tea and minerals. A really nice surprise from a pretty large cooperative. Drinking 2023-on.

Dark purple in color with a tinge of brown on the edges. Dense dark fruit with a savory finish. Opened up quickly especially for a Barolo. Good with steak.

Ruby red center with a burnt orange edge; rich aromas and flavors of dark fruit, ripe cherries, dried currants, some oak; integrated, rich on the palate, dry, good acidity; long dry finish with a little tartness and oak coming thru.
