Musique & Vin Paulée Musicale BYO Dinner (Château de Meursault): Small glass, brief note. Fully mature red fruit with a spicebox full of complexity from start-to-finis with slowly cooked mushroom notes adding more nuance and umami. Most likely one of the rare authentic bottles of this wine, given the number of fakes out there. Very good+, near great, and such a thrill to taste this once again.

The Thirteenth Annual Stonefields Dinner (Guelph, Ontario, Canada): Wow...this was so enthralling...notes of musk, sandalwood, cedar, dried flowers, dried red fruit.....someone commented "like the smell of a man working in the vineyard" So perfumed and fragrant. Enchanting. Palate is so powerful and sexy...cedar, sandalwood, soy, mineral, dried flowers, mineral, subtle ginger. Unreal wine. Finish is long with waves of flavour.
