First release of this chardonnay from Celilo Vineyard. Overtones of green apple, slate, some spice on the nose and palate. Refreshing, smooth. Can drink with or without food. Nice bottle.

Pale lemon. My impression of this wine differs so extremely from my notes of 3/2/2020 that I wonder if this bottle was flawed (oxidized). The nose and palate were of bruised apple and somewhat sherry-like.
A Calling Club Exclusive Release. 96 cases, unfined and unfiltered.

Kerloo clearly has a mantra of producing understated yet highly accessible wines but I was really suprised at the quality and make up of thier first Chardonnay The pale straw or really more light green color gives away the direction of the wine. Zero wood influence. This allows the high quality Celilo fruit to really shine, lime flowers and a powdery mineral traits gently trek across the palate, leaving a delightful wake on the finish. Would love to insert this into a flight of top PC Chablis.

96 cases produced, unfined and unfiltered. Clear, medium lemon – lemon chiffon frosting, celery, oak, brioche, orange blossoms, minerals, pineapple, white pepper, toast. Medium+ acid, 12.7% ABV, medium+ body, medium finish. Creamy mouthfeel, well balanced.

Soft and light nose. Pale straw hue. Soft, light, pleasantly lacks common oak/butter chardonnay tones, lime, minerals. Very enjoyable wine.
