Audozed 2 hours, served non-blind and enjoyed over two days: both showed well if slightly differently. This needed some time to get moving but once it did, it was a lovely showing. Red with some dark red-fruited character. Leather, a suggestion of savory, soil, etc. Med+ body with ample structure to see this into the next decade. Very good partner to the various grilled meats and roast veggies. 14,5% abv. highly recommended
Very nice with lamb chops; red fruit, mint, anise, some orange peel and forest floor; ripe and borderline big, but not heavy or alcoholic in any way; good balance; still with plenty of structure. Good

Good Friday night wine swap with the gang. Tasted blind. Drank in Grassl Cru. Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of dark licorice, sweet incense oak spice, thyme, dark red cherries, Tuscan sentimentalities. Developing. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol (14.5%), grippy high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of black cherries, dark red cherries, dark plums, licorice, thyme, sweet oak spice with more air. Medium+ finish. Very good quality. Well-made Brunello in an unremarkable vintage. Fair amount of oak make-up. Another 2-3 years to integrate a bit more and then this should be just nice to drink up and enjoy. Not really for long-term for this vintage.

hint of cedar, dark berries. taste: cherries, and dark fruit. tannins still present, and gives a nice finish. Balance between fruit and tannins.
