Textbook example of the Jaffurs' quality Syrahs from Santa Barbara County, not to mention quality. Delicious just after release, at age 7 is even better, with lots of life left. Fresh and intensely flavorful without being cloying nor over-alc'd, this is a prototype for just how good and satisfying cool-climate Central Coast Syrahs can be. This basic appellation-level bottling can go against $75.00+ bottlings from California any day of the week. Wish I had a couple cases in the cellar....

Delicious. I should buy more. Deep rich mixed berry jam flavors. Perfect sweetness. Hints of stone and a clean zesty pepper finish.
Extremely pleasant mouth feel from start to finish.
