Colour: deep ruby with a developing hue Nose: complex aromas of black berries: fairly ripe/sweet blackcurrant, plum, skogsbæryoghurt, vanilla, leather, nuts Mouth: dry, high acid high tannin, medium+ fruit concentration and length, high alcohol, fully body, vanilla Conclusion: Its big and bold, with lots of acid and fruit and will ripe for much longer. Typical, modern much of everything fine wine! Too much for me though.

Earthy taste with smooth finish. Our bottle stored well. We drank it on 11/26/2020. Agreed with to decant. We had sentiment- which didn’t bother me one bit. If you haven’t been to Hendry Winery. One of the best educational wine tours out there.

A little disappointing. When first opened, had something odd going on which mostly dissipated after about an hour and lots of swirling. Then it was fine but not memorable.

Did not rate. This wine is brilliantly made, extremely well balanced it’s just not for me. At the price you can get two reallly great Bordeauxs (as my palate prefers). Too ripe and jammy. Mellow acidity. Nice grippy tannins with a great finish.

Uncles Fine Wine Spring BYO (Home): Dense and intense. What a powerhouse. High alcohol, butter. Much of everything. Experienced as too concentrated. Dense fruit and spicy
