Light slate grey with some golden tints. Nose hint of funk, some wax, highly floral. Palate golden fruit, honey, richly layered — deep, yet also light on the tongue. Superbly balanced and wonderful to drink now but clearly has upside. WOTN. 95 pts

JJ Prum - 2015 range tasting: Orange peel, spices, slate, lemon, floral notes and a light honey character on the nose. The palate is flat out delicious, with excellent fruit intensity and lip-smacking acidity providing that ever impressive balance of great sweet German Riesling. This has so much to offer already, but the best will be yet to come. A great start to a trio of brilliant Auslese Goldkaps at this tasting.

Honeyed fruit - spicy, rich and sumptous. Lots of weight and intensity, very rich. Quite a big differenct to the non-Goldcap Auslese tasted before. Great acidity - wonderfully balanced and very long. Superb. 95-96+

Lovely golden honey pear peach mango and a long silky rich palate. Very good balance, fantastic with sharp Stilton.

Medium+ gold. From 375ml. Tasted on day 2. Ultra floral, white orchard, honeyed fruit, hint of orange zest. Excellent.
