This was very nice; I really like the '14 vintage overall. This has a lovely Gevrey nose with some dark cherry and hints of underbrush and earth. There is some violet and black tea along with a hint of spice. The palate is fresh and maybe a touch lean. There is still a fair amount of structure and acidity and this absolutely needs food. Still seemed pretty young, but a lovely Burgundy for the table.

This is outstanding for a village level wine and would easily pass for a 1er Cru from many producers. Great depth of rich dark fruit. Smooth tannins. Forest floor. Orange peel and a hint of asian spices.

Dark red. Dark red and blue fruited liqueur on the nose. Quite powerful. Rocky and mineral. Good mid palate depth of fruit but the acidic spine kicks in pretty swiftly. A bit of air should help it integrate and open up. Let’s see. The acidity remained very prominent with air, much more so than my last bottle. Lovely fruit but a bit angular from the middle onwards and I am typically a big fan of a good acidic backbone! Will wait 6-12 months to try another bottle

Dark crimson. Nose of raspberry and dark cherry liqueur. Lovely weight of fruit - tangy dark cherries, nice balance and a good long finish. Needs some air to open up - 30-60 mins. Excellent
