  • Decanted forty minutes before supper (surprisingly no sediment). Crimson red color. Aromas of red currant, cassis, red licorice, black cherry and vanilla. Medium-bodied. Currant, licorice, red plum, cherry and eucalyptus on the palate. Medium tannins are slightly sweet and fine-grained. Paired qute perfectly with 2" thick medium rare ribeyes with just a slight bit of char crust. Showing very well currently, though there should be no rush...easily now to 2026.
