Random wines tasted during service (Oinoscent): Sampled from a customer's bottle * burgundy bottle * Ultra thick, dense and very salty in the nose, mineral, ripe to overripe lime, lemon, pear, green apple, full body, high acidity, long finish. Outstanding quality and still youthful

90+ Wine Club, A tribute to Hatzidakis (Aleria restaurant): * Bordeaux bottle * Clarity, salty, mineral, ripe to overripe citrus, quince, lemon, preserved lemon, stone fruit, palate with high acidity, same flavors, oxidation notes, quince jam, med body, alcohol heat (13.50%?), med finish
* Burgundy bottle * More subtle, ripe fruit, mineral, lemon, salty, feels a bit leaner, palate is the same, ripe fruit, quince again, a touch harsh, med finish, finely tuned. We were told that this bottling had a slightly different winemaking, made in old oak

Fascinating wine, my first aged assyrtiko, complex with assorted flavors, much more delicate than a younger assyrtiko, very dry finish, the fruit is delicate, drank with seared tuna with cous cous, I have one more bottle from the legend but a different assyrtiko so won’t drink this one again, i forget how good assyrtiko can be.

Σε φιάλη Βουργουνδίας (δεν είναι το ίδιο με την Bordeaux). Σε άλλο επίπεδο. Καταπληκτικό.
