  Tropical fruit, some oak, ripe pears, a nice acidity... a lush, rich mouthfeel... this is an excellent Calif. chardonnay in the typical New World style... notes below suggesting butterscotch are on point. This is drinking very well right now, a commendable effort from Grgich Hills.

  crisp, rich flavor. Ripe pear. Slight mineral on the back of the tongue
