Not my favorite style. Very oak forward and smokey. Mostly tropical fruited with very ripe pineapple and mango, only a hint of citrus. Dense texture with modest acidity. The more I drink it the less I like it. Maybe I ver rated it?

Very fruit-forward on the nose--grapefruit especially, with tropical fruits and jasmine. Hints of wax showed up once it warmed a little. Palate is rich and juicy, with a slightly waxy body and some grapefruit bitterness. No noticable oak influence on flavor or mouthfeel. Fairly long finish, sustaining the grapefruit bitterness for a while.
This was a little thin in the mid-palate but opened up nicely once it warmed from "cold" to "cool". A nice glass of wine and an interesting departure from the typical California butter bombs!

Light straw color. At first nose was a bit off putting but with a little air became really enjoyable. Tastes of lemon curd, ripe banana, and slight oak. Quality wine for sure from a legendary wine maker. Enjoy!

Brioche, yellow apple, pear, minerally butter cream. Maybe a touch hot, good acidity, maybe a touch unripe but I'm okay with that.

Extremely fruit forward. Melons and pears. Pretty much fruit cocktail throughout with subtle acidity. Probably needs some age.
