I love Riesling at all dryness and sweetness levels, but this didn't do it for me. Lacked crisp minerality and therefore needed warmth and air to soften and round itself. OK after that time and exposure, but not an amazing wine. Picked to pair with goose. Think I would have preferred a Loire chenin blanc.

Sandstone soil, biodynamic practices. Clear golden yellow. Baked apple, stone, petrol aromas. A little sweet on the entry but finishes dry. Nice medium length finish lingers on the palate. Nice acidity but does not quite reach the vibrancy and tension of the best expressions of Riesling.

PnP. Neutral nose. Light bodied and crisp. Muted fruit with some woodsy notes. May have shown better alone but came across as rather plain and uninteresting and was completely outshone by the 2016 30 Bench Wood Post at half the price.
