  • Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of pale lemon colour, with wide watery rims and legs.
Nose: Clean, with light intensity aromas of citrus of lemon, green fruit of pear and greengage, maturity notes of honey, kernel notes of almond, mineral notes of saline, dairy notes of cream. The wine is developing.
Palate: Dry with medium acidity, the wine has medium alcohol, medium (-) body and medium intensity flavours of citrus fruit of lemon, green fruit of pear, kernel notes of roasted almond, autolytic notes of bread and yeast. The wine has a medium finish.
Conclusion: Good quality Marsannay Blanc with a light and simple nose, showing nice lemon and pear notes, with hints of honey development, plenty of almond and some saline. On the palate it has good acidity, well-balanced and refreshing, with additional bread and yeasty flavours and a reasonable length on the finish. It is ready to drink now and not meant for further ageing.
