  Still retains some nice flavors of berries and really stout cedar and tobacco notes. Slightly over the hill and not getting any better, so I wouldn't buy it again. But not a bad wine; just elderly.

  Excellent value and purity of classic mentholated cherry Sangiovese flavor. Really true flavors that bring one back to Tuscany. Modest tannic bite so this guy is ready to drink.

  They served it a little warm but that did not dampen this wines spirits. Long finish, balanced flavors of tobacco and currents. One in the party felt it was too bitter.

  The pedigree here is rock solid. I found the nose a bit off on this bottle, but it still tasted fine. Nice cherry notes with good acidity. Surprisingly given its price, I think it could have used some more time in the bottle. Excellent QPR and great everyday case buy.
