  • {screwcap, 13%} Cab, shiraz, Malbec, merlot. Developing, sweet spicy shiraz with a Malbec kick. Cab is present as a gentle herbal frame. Compost flavours and aromas, rotting vegetation, strawberry jam. Mild oak, low dusty tannins, medium acidity. Medium weight. Slightly acetic hint, with a mushroom quality. Nose is more interesting than the palate, which is a bit short to finish, and does seem to have a fair old hole in the middle when it comes to flavour. Metallic edge to the finish too. Not worth further cellaring, for sure.

  • This is plums and tar on the nose. It's herbaceous and green on the palate, with dusty tannins and a tart finish. Would not recommend at all.
