  • Surprisingly good. Smooth, not too sweet, but sweet enough.

  • Cost $9.50. We drank this at a family get-together after Thanksgiving. Medium sweetness. Reasonably good flavour.
    Per back label:
"Cool" fermented at approximately 55 degrees F. A portion of the juice was set aside to be used as a "sweet reserve" after fermentation was completed. The resulting wine is rich in varietal character with a crisp finish. Alcohol 11% by volume. Residual sugar 4.2 Brix.

    Per www.leelanaucellars.com:
Fruity aromas and a gentle complexity that goes well with food. Dances on the palat with balanced acidity and subtle nuances of melon, apples, and peaches. The previous vintage won a double gold medal at the 2005 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition in New York state. It also took a gold medal at the 2005 Taster's Guild Wine Competition.
