Informal tasting so no detailed notes, however this needed at least an hour decant to get going, will probably develop well with further age. Delicious and very mineral-driven, the perfect foil for oysters.

The Wine Club Tour de France (San Francisco): I had such a strong visceral reaction to the pungently varietal nose that I literally could not bring myself to put it my mouth. Take this for what it is-a sniffing rather than a tasting note!
