More fragrant and a bit darker than the Blanc Etc., showing marly chalky-flinty notes and apricot skin, some grapefruit pith; fuller bodied as well and very silky. Excellent pedigree, long. Interesting to compare the 2 Daganeau wines. Loire Whites Party Teviot St.

As always, a beautiful glass with DD Silex. Beautiful balance and light rocky taste, long finish and nice complexity. I think we prefer this with age though so the other two bottles to enjoy over the next 10-20 years should be amazing.

light lemon color. Pitched mineral nose. Palate shows some nuanced barrel tones. Almost Bordeaux Blanc in its level of fruit. Melon and cantaloupe. Day 2, a surprising level of clarity to a wine that I expected to have more winemaking impact apparent.

Light, translucent straw yellow with green sprinkles
The nose is rich and complex for a SB, still slightly reductive. Diverse fruits (quince, red grapefruit, lime, apricot, melon) , flowers (blackcurrant blossom, jasmine , acacia) plus crushed stone
On the palate very creamy with a full body, balanced by a very present acidity and a saline streak with lemon zest, with quince and dried apricot in the forefront, blackcurrant blossom and Jasmin, lime and melon, nicely layered and lingering for 40+ seconds on your tongue
Great Loire SB at the beginning of its drinking window

Good expression without too much alcohol or weight. Slightly linear.
