Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 90 points

  • Light and bright gold color with a fine, lazy mousse. Medium intensity aroma of warm sourdough bread with rich flavors like honeydew, raspberry, tiramisu, and Almond Roca. 4.5g/l extra brut. 8 months in stainless on lees, 6 years in bottle on fine lees. All reflected in the creamy mouthfeel that still has a tinge of grip on the tail. Not the depth or structure of a tete de cuvee, but it will certainly handle several more years in good form. 4+12+17+9= 90

  • Fully matured and very creamy, rather full bodied. Nuts and bisquit some fruits but not obvious, well structured and bit on the heavy side, while very good, a bit heavy for a Summer evening.
