By the glass at The Downtown Grocery in Ludlow, VT. Nose is a bit muted but has some oranges and green herbs. Palate is very lightly reminiscent of skin contact; zippy, orange peel, grassy. Nice body. Easy drinking.

Made from organically grown Chardonnay grapes that see 3 weeks of skin contact. Fermented and aged in stainless steel. 12,5% alcohol.
Deep honeyed yellow color with a faint, youthful greenish hue. Sweet, very open and expressive nose with very pronounced peach marmalade candy notes and aromas of perfumed wild flowers, some apple purée, a little bit of gummi bear candies or red wine gums, a hint of caramel and a touch of phenolic smoke character. The wine is dry, lively on moderately full-bodied on the palate with quite pronounced stony minerality and ripe fruit flavors of sweet red apples, some phenolic smoke and a little bit of apricots and peaches, along with a subtly waxy undercurrent. The wine feels very structured and balanced with high acidity and a light tug of tannins. The finish is dry, fresh and lively with bright, lengthy flavors of ripe apples, some peach, a little bit of stony minerality and a hint of beeswax.
A fun, easily approachable and positively unambitious skin-contact white. More or less "an orange wine for the masses". Good balance, lovely fruit-forward character and great structure here and no funk, any weird qualities or excessive "natural" aromatics make this a very reliable wine to convert anwary people into the world of skin-contact whites. Nice!
