Dark cherry translucent color with the first pour showing neck sediment in the glass bottom, not surprising for an unfined and unfiltered Pinot Noir. After the stubbornly persistent initial rubber band/band aid off odor disperses, the nose shows reticent aromas of cherry cola and candied strawberry with no appreciable bouquet, as may well be expected after opening the wine immediately after being brought up from a 56 degree Fahrenheit cellar. The mouthfeel presents with a softened medium light viscosity that carries light residual extracted sweet strawberry and cherry flavors laced with vanilla, through to the finish where the fruit identity seems to coalesce, supported by bright yet balanced acidity and minimal tannic components. One should not have expectations of Oregan Pinot Noir with those experiences associated with the various styles of this varietal from California. This wine has a vibrant clarity, somewhat subdued, not vapid, but in its descension, yet still exhibiting a classic and sophisticated flavor profile. One must independently decide if this well made wine’s allure is commensurate with its present price point.

Terrific aromatics of earthy conifers and violet florals. Solid Dundee Hills with earth, cola and mineral intensity. Will hold for a good many years

Good stuffing. Needs more time. Opened nicely after an hour in the glass
