This is a solid wine, a pop and pour experience, a beast right out of the bottle that also shows smooth elegance. Inky dark purple color with an attractively sweet, purple candy like nose. On the palate, generous dark berry fruits, blackberry, semi tart black cherries, cassis and plum notes showing with perfect ripeness. This wine is full bodied with smooth tannins revealing some acidity that smooth out with some air. This wine is as described, a ‘full figured’ wine, a genuine delight. 96+/ 97 Points. 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot, and 2% Malbec.

Hourglass: My favorite wine in the lineup. This came off as somewhat of a hybrid of the Blueline and the other Estate. It had the deep, black, flavorful core fruit of the Blueline, but a near-perfect frame to hold it all together in perfect focus and delineation of flavor. A modern wine to be sure, but with a cerebral component that elevated interest. A pole dancer with a Ph.D.
Specific notes of blackberry, black cherry, black cassis (if there is such a thing), dark bitter chocolate chunk, espresso, asphalt, and hints of herbs and clove/spice.
Drinking great now, but some additional time in the bottle will likely reward with more seamlessness in its delivery. 95-96+ points. Try again after 2020+.

This was amazing. Might be Jill's new favorite wine.

One of the most enjoyable wines I've had this year.
Darker fruits (blackberry, plum, black cherry), mocha, and cedar are the more dominant flavors in this wonderfully complex bordeaux blend.
I know this should wait a few more years, but there is no way I am holding off that long to drink mine.
