Cork fully soaked, decant for 2 hours. Initially tight, shy, opening slowly with time. Floral notes of plums, liquorice, wood, spices with good earthy smell and minerals. Light on palate for a good vintage year, left bank BDX, cherries, plums, raspberries, but only lasting a short while on the palate. May have passed it's prime

a little thin, still nice though, would not hold on to this much longer, a little oak, hint of lead pencil, green pepper, shades of a good bordeaux, but definitely past it's prime, although given a haut-medoc, in a fairly good year, in an average chateau, and not sure when the prime would be, have some younger of the same, will probably drink in the 5-7 year range. plum, not really full bodied.

Austere. Fruits aroma not coming forward after 2 hours in the decanter. Cherry notes, oak, suddenly strong hints of leafy green, stew leaf. Tired bouquet. Fruits in the palate faded midway, tannin softened to almost invisible. Drink now. A4P3C3
