Easy 93, a beautiful bottle of white Burg in a sweet spot. Richness combined with electric energy, both taught and luxuriant....and just the right amount of 'struck match' reduction. I fell for PYCM through his 2017 BB, this is a memorable step up - I'm almost concerned that my expectations can't be realised as I ascend the hierarchy of his wines. This is also a serious QPR bottle of Chardonnay for under £50. Outstanding +.

67PM with Roger + friends (67 Pall Mall): On drinking my last bottle a year ago I noted that this wine had entered its peak window, and this bottle was certainly 'in the zone'. A beautiful combination of lemon/lime and gentle, sophisticated reduction on the nose. Piquant on the palate, but the acidity is now perfectly integrated, creating an appetising wine that cossets as well as refreshes. I would be happy drinking this every day!

The nose has a lovely pear skin quality as well as a charming lime blossom note and a little smokiness. Given how reductive these can be it was decanted for an hour before broaching and improved over the evening. Palate has a beautiful wet stone minerality, gorgeous acidity and, ten seconds after swallowing, a gorgeous lime juice caress for the tongue. First of six. Has plenty in the tank to my palate. Cracking.

Coravin glass from 1 of 3 purchased from a cellar sale. Creamy texture but otherwise dull, flat and watery. Hoping it’s an off bottle but disappointing.
