Terroir-istes International - New Zealand Pinot Noir & Sauvignon Blanc (Rodwell House): Light garnet, to an orang-ing rim A tertiary bouquet with button mushroom, wild strawberry, light spice (cumin) and some mocha notes. Relatively light-bodied, the wine does have a broad palate shape with ripe fruits balanced by fresh acidity and smooth yet gentle tugging tannins. Lacks some depth, with a medium+ finish.

Medium dark red colour. Scents of grape-stems, chery-stones, and dirt. Medium bodied with a distinctly sour flavour profile. Not as oaky as other NZ Pinot Noir wines - in actual fact the wine was slightly Burgundian. Good definition with a somewhat simple level of complexity. Much better with food than without. 85 points

Absolutely beautiful right now. Very fragrant pinot nose, silky and voluptuous to drink.
