Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: Collection of Weingut Immich Anker and two other goodies (Private Location): Like Dirk already mentioned: Blend of 500l from Eisbruch vineyard at the Mosel from Immich-Anker and 500l from Crow Valley in Oregon. Matured in used barrique, 12 month on its lees. A very special nose where the oak comes through quite strong imo. You have some pear but also a slightly touch of overripe banana, whipped cream and some coconut. Very round palate feeling (thanks again to the oak). The acidity is mild, I´m missing a bit the cut and the edge. Also the typical vanilla component from the oak. But it´s quite complex and has power. Nice to try but I guess I wouldn´t spent 30 bucks for this.

Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: 3 Guys, lots of Riesling (@Private location): Blend of 500l from Eisbruch vineyard at the Mosel from Immich-Anker and 500l from Crow Valley in Oregon. Matured in used barrique, 12 month on its lees. Clear, pale golden color. Clean, medium+ intense, youthful-developing nose. Ripe pear, fine, ripe banana, oak, some mineral notes, some petrol. Creamy, gets more elegant with air, multi-layered and complex. Dry (Mosel dry). Medium acidity. Really great to see, how much body and volume one can produce with only 11,1% abv! On the palate a fine core of ripe banana, vanilla, ripe yellow fruit, coconut and a bit dried fruit. Creamy, lacks a bit of Grip and tension, a bit broader without being clumsy. Medium+, lingering finish. This wine has certainly potentialfor 5-10+ years. Hard to detect as a Riesling, but a super nice experience to try this rare wine. 89-90
