Pnp this is pure flowers, smells like the section of an east European market with various bagged flowers. Violet, orris root, hibiscus. With time there’s more and more sweet cherry with a candied character. Light in style, fragrant, M- acid and very soft tannins. Having a second glass later with a slight chill it feels Pinot ish. Drink this one young. Far better than I expected for $11, as good a wine as I’ve had for that price. That said this may not have the acid you’d expect from Barbera and probably wouldn’t work as well with hearty/meaty dishes, probably better with lighter food or on its own. 5.5-6/10

Full bodied. Dry. Decent wine for the money. Paired well with filet mignon.
