  Medium ruby, with medium intensity, developing aromas of violet, raspberry, burnt plum, coulee, blackberry, black, currant, Cedar. This wine has high alcohol and medium plus body with, medium plus tannins and acidity.
  This wine has flavors of burnt raspberries, cedar, blackberries, black pepper, tar, and slight tobacco. This wine has a medium finish and a creaminess that you wouldn’t expect with a red wine. This is a good wine that should be drunk now in the next four years.
  
  What stands out is the burnt plum flavor and a relatively short finish, which is disappointing.

  Two hour decant, this is on the rich, heavily oaked side, with plenty of vanilla/ chocolate and charcoal, almost too much. The tannins are readily present and pull enough of the attention away from the oakiness to make it enjoyable.
