Really good PQR. Appropriate Pinot Noir varietal flavors, smooth and not overly sweet. A touch light in body, but a tasty Pinot for under $15 is great.

First glass upon opening: A gentle nose of red currants, loam, strawberry, and faint mushroom is followed by a clean, smooth delivery from, well... from A to Z, one might say. The aromas of the nose do follow through, but are somewhat faded. A touch of spice box and cedar comes on midway and lingers to the finish where the acid wakes the fruit notes up a bit more. This pinot noir comes across as diminished from what was, I am sure, a lovely and vibrant expression of the grape. Still quite enjoyable as is, and I am hoping for some improvement as it decants.
Second glass after an hour decanting: It has blossomed a bit more, but not as much as I was hoping. Still, one point added.

I am looking for currently available Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs -- at this price point -- that provide this much pleasure. Please let me know, thanks. This was my last bottle.

Opened for about 30 minutes before tasting. This is slightly fading, but is such a nice wine for the money - unlike the 2018. Like the 2015, this has a balance that neither the 2017 or 2018 display) Nice clean Pinot fruit, with just a hint of spice and earth. I am looking for a current release, at this price point, that can fill this void. (87-88). ADDENDUM: Two days later, I sampled the one-half bottle left in the refrigerator (sealed with only the screw top). Really drinking nicely, better than day 1. Nice spice and red fruits on the palate. I hope this winery, which I believe relies entirely on purchased fruit from across OR, will make Pinots like this again, at this price point. (88). Three days later, still drinking nicely.
