  • Nice fruit forward wine which is a good buy at $13. Well balanced with a smooth medium finish. Red fruit flavors with low acidity. Some alcohol showing but not enough to be distracting. Not complex but still enjoyable for the price.

  • Something funky with this bottle. Off flavor, odd aromas, zero finish - quite unexpected with a screw top. Hoping it was better on day 2. NOT!

  • $15 USD. can be found everywhere. (Total Wine, Grocery store, etc)

Drank after 15 min in the fridge

    Appearance:

Semi Translucent. I can see my hands through it, but not enough to read a newspaper probably.
    No variation at the rim.
Medium Ruby, light intensity, short legs

    Nose:

    Clean
on the nose Medium in intensity and alcohol. Very alluring/seductive scent
    Fruity, red fruits (raspberry, currants)
    Obviously youthful

    Palate:

    Very fruit forward

    Dry
    Light body
    Medium- Acidity
    Medium Alcohol
    Medium- Tannin
Light/low intensity, Feels very delicate but simple
    very low tannins. Very smooth
    Red fruits

    Medium Finish.

Conclusion: Very smooth and has a very alluring scent. Perfect to drink now. Will pair well with a light meal such as fish, pasta, chicken
I can also see this being a decent budget daily sipper

    Day 2+

on day 2 Aroma is more pronounced. feels like a fruit bomb. on the palate feels more tannic than day 1. lot less acidity and alcohol. taste little to no alcohol, and hard to detect any acidity.

on day 3, Aroma is very highly pronounced. full fruit bomb with scents of flowers (feels like roses?)

on the palate, very mild tannins remaining. low- acidity. full red fruits. weak but a lingering finish.

  • Had with pizza. Liked the pairing, just what I expect from an Oregon Pinot noir. Lots of fruit in the mouth and complimented the pizza well.
Would be equally happy drinking this wine without food on a summer's night on the patio
That being said, I doubt I would ever order this at a restaurant and pay for the up-charge. Ok at retail and even better on sale but wouldn't pay more for this one
