  A vibrant ruby, this wine shows a nose of funky mushrooms, wet leaves, camphor and rosemary, lavender, Maraschino cherries, fleeting hints of violets,and stewed raspberries. On the palate , medium - plus acidity is complemented by flavours of fresh cherries that are on the verge of ripeness. Give this wine plenty of air and it will release surprisingly complex aromas of Pinot Noiir. A great QPR and a much better made wine than its modest price tag implies.

  Sweet red cherry nose, the palate has ripeness initially and then a slightly sour finish. Tasting blind I’d not recognise it as a Pinot. Decent but atypical of the varietal so a little disappointing in that regard.
