  • Dark purple in color. Notes of black cherry and vanilla. Dry, med body, med acidity, smooth tannins. Not my style of Pinot, but an interesting style for BC. I find most BC Pinot light and earthy. Not this one, more similar to California Pinot.

  • A full 24 hours later, I love the perfect integration of this wine, the entry rolls beautifully into the finish with just the most elegant structure holding it all together.. Wonderful..

  • At $35 it's bit expensive for what it is...but it is an excellent new world rendition of pinot noir. Something in between Oregon and Sonoma, fruit forward and round, bold but not overly oaked, another great example of the fantastic wine coming out of the Okanagan.

  • Medium garnet, minimal rimming. Nose is fresh red fruit, red cherries, strawberry and vanilla. Palate is similar, lacking in any strong tannins. Med-high acidity. Easy to drink, and still enjoyable, but I generally desire more earthy and structured pinots. This is too reminiscent of a mediocre Cali Pinot. Not nearly as gross as Meiomi, but has a bit of that bitter acidic-fruity vibe (perhaps it is just too young). I definitely enjoyed it more when tasted at the winery, which is often the case. Worth a try and may suit another’s profile well.

  • Ripe fruit, sweet cherries predominantly, bright and fresh on the palate. Nice nose of red fruits, very new world style. Pleasant to drink, but sweeter than I remember from the tasting at the vineyard back in September. While not absolutely the best from the Okanagan, I'd say it's a very good pinot noir for the price.
