this wine is still young; double decanted and drank over a couple hours; was wound up tight for some time, it took a while and then it started to open up; dark blackberry and blueberry fruit. some spice peeked it's head; this wine could end up in the mid 90's with some time. No hurry at all; I have 2 more and will not even think about opening another for 4-5 years

60 minute decant. Rustic nose of blackberry, rhubarb pie, pepper jelly, and dusty black raspberries. Bright red cherry on a palate shows a funky note, then loads up with plenty of spice, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Cherry acidity and lithe tannins on the palate with citrus notes, red raspberry, and c very long finale of complex oak flavors. This wine has hit its stride and is awesome.

Delicious and juicy. Nice mix of blue ans blacks fruit with a firm spine of acidity. Peppery ans spicy on the palate. Chalky tannins coat the mouth. Shows a rather narrow profile with the higher acidity—to me this make it mouthwatering and refleshing. Others may prefer when it’s older and a bit softer.

Oh it's tasty that's for sure. Pop and Pour but watched over 3 days. It's a bigger wine but far from outlandish and there is a lovely elegance here. Dark hue with some surprising translucence. Red and black fruits mildly brambly, fairly generous about an hour into opening. Some notable and lovely Herb and savory notes I feel a quintessential Old Hill, both on the nose and palate. Good acidity, the tannins are present, not distracting especially if you don't mind them. Softened and more integrated on day two. There is a lot going on here and it's very tasty. I don't regret opening this now but I can definitely see letting it sit for a bit... The third day things were a bit too oxidized for my liking so the last glass wasn't all that pleasant. Use my note and let yours sit for a year and then maybe open one up.
