How I love this wine! My white at Rincon38. If I hadn't prioritized avoiding over-consumption, I would have had another small glass! Hopefully others in my group will catch the Do Ferriro bug too besides Brad & I. Precise & energetic with stunning mineral intensity & a complimenting range of citrus & stone fruit. A "go to" still white in our house for the past few years! Punches well above its $24 price point. 92-93

Monthly Tasting Group: Spain (Rincon 38, Mpls, MN): Light gold color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes next to the '16 do Ferreiro Adina. This has citrus, lemongrass, soap box, brine, medium full bodied, dry and crisp with density and intensity.

One of the best recent vintages of this reliable, go-to Albariño. A touch of funk on the nose blows off after an hour; palate shows mineral complexity, balanced acidity, subtle fruit, even some inner tension. Will try again soon in a vertical of 2017-2019-2020. Already know the 2017 is solid; expect the latter two to be on the young side since even this regular cuvée of Do Ferreiro needs some age (their riveting Cepas Vellas needs even more, of course).

Imo best Albariño producer out there. Classic Spanish characteristics.
