As magnificent as red wine gets for $40 (or 3x that in our restaurant, worth every marked-up penny). Initial flavors of dehydrated strawberry, cherry, smoke, dry forest floor, dusty tannins. Gave way with air to more sour cherry. If you love intellectual lightweight reds, this merits your attention.

This is relatively robust for a Jura red, and it has a foreground of chewy tannins, which don't diminish with aeration. So I would suggest that much pleasure will result if you wait until 2027 or so to open any further bottles.

Few wines that I would rather drink. Black currant, bing cherry, with a super leafy, crunchy component. Rustic tannins, paired with persistent fresh acid. Just excellent.
Drank while watching the Michigan <> Iowa game, may have been the only ones pairing it with Trousseau.

This bottle showed a bit hotter, but it was still quite nice. More of a candied cherry note, with peppery tannins, and long length
