  A classic new world Chardonnay with well integrated oak. Grapefruit, limestone, and some dandelion on the nose, with a pallet more in the rich, creamy & vanilla realm.

  피노누아가 꽤나 만족스러워서 같이 샀던 도멘 드루앵의 백포도주.
  결론부터 말하면 피노누아처럼 미국스러우면서도 버건디스러움이 좋았다.
  물론 해외 평균가격을 생각하면 그 가격에 구매를 하게 될지는?
  
  노즈에서는 배 향기가 상당히 지배적이었다.
  약간의 스모키함이 느껴지기도 했는데 이 향은 온도가 적절히 올라가면서 더 선명해진다.
  오크향도 이어서 느껴지는데 하필 이날 위스키도 같이 마시고 있어서 위스키에서 유래된건지는 조금 헷갈린다.
  
  팔렛에서는 유질감이 조금 느껴지면서 마우스필이 매끄러운 편이다.
  적지 않은 잔당감이 있으나 거슬릴 정도는 아니며 중간 이상의 산도가 이를 그래도 잘 정리해준다.
  향은 시간이 지날수록 좋아지는데 반해 맛으 산도가 조금 더 튀고, 단맛이 강해져서 너무 오래둘 필요는 없겠다.
  
  부르고뉴 블랑에 대한 지식이 많지 않아 완전한 비교는 어렵지만 애매한 부르고뉴 블랑보다는 분명히 나을 와인이다.
  시음 적기를 지나고 있다는 느낌은 적었으므로 조금 더 두었다가 마셔도 좋을 것 같고.
  다만 요새는 이마트에서도 꽤 비싸게 받으려는 것 같은데 장터를 이용하는 편이 더 적절해보인다.

  부르고뉴 스타일의 오레곤 샤도. 맛있지만 좀 더 개성이 드러나지 못한 것 같아 아쉽다.

  Well oak dominated this bottle, it seems as if fruit is dissipating, medium weight, somewhat balanced except the overall oakiness, I am not a fan of oak, complex flavors, drank fairly easily with whole wheat spaghetti with white clam sauce and sautéed scallops, last bottle, loved this wine in previous bottles, on to another vintage.
